Information about National Testing Agency (NTA 2023)
The National Testing Agency (NTA) was established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development in the Government of India. The main aim of NTA is to conduct an efficient test to assess candidates for admission as well as oversee the smooth and fair conduction of said tests. Apart from that, the NTA is also responsible for initiating quality research on the educational, professional, and testing system of the candidate to identify gaps in the knowledge systems.
For this purpose, it carries out training exercises, expert consultations, and advisories to various institutions across India, in collaboration with various international organizations.
Apart from this, the NTA also strives to make the exam and testing standards of India efficient and transparent enough to match up to international standards. This is one of the major reasons why it constantly focuses on the R&D as well as information dissemination on education and professional developmental standards..
